Kinik has developed a line of polishing pad brushes designed for use on poromeric and impregnated felt-based CMP "soft" pads. These pad conditioners use nylon brushes to dress and refresh the pad surface, typically in “buff” platens. These brush conditioners use nylon filament bundles that are securely held by a direct nylon "wire," as well as physically via compression into the disk brush inlets. They feature an open-channel design that was engineered to evenly distribute flow through the disk and remove debris efficiently. The substrates themselves are a plastic polymer, ensuring corrosion resistance. They are available in a variety of tool mounts and configurations.
