EMINESS TECHNOLOGIES
Eminess Technologies Inc., a privately held corporation, was formed
December 2000 and manufactures consumables polishing products for
the global precision surface technologies industries. Eminess Technologies Inc.
converts Rohm and Haas Electronic Materials,
formerly Rodel®, raw material
into polishing pads and manufactures specialty-polishing slurries used throughout
the optics, semiconductor, wafer, and storage media substrates industries.
PRODUCTS
Ultra-Sol™ Slurries: Eminess Technologies Inc.
manufactures it own slury line, Ultra-Sol™ Slurries. These
specialty-polishing slurries are used throughtout the optics, semiconductor, wafer, and
storage media substrates industries.
Additional Slurries: Eminess Technologies also
distributes slurries from other manufacturers, such as Rohm and Haas and AZ Electronic Materials (now
the producer of Clariant's Klebosol®).
Polishing Pads: Eminess Technologies converts
Rohm and Haas Electronic Materials, formerly Rodel®, raw material into polishing
pads that can be used for a wide variety of polishing applications including
applications in the optics, semiconductor, wafer, and storage media substrates
industries.
Waxless Fixturing: Eminess Technologies Inc.
manufactures Insert Process Template Assemblies (IPTA) and New Template
Assemblies (NTA) to hold wafer substrates during polishing and provide
excellent flatness without the use of wax.
Rodo™ Wheels: Eminess Technologies Inc. manufactures
glass-polishing products including Rodo™ Wheels for polishing glass edges and
beveled glass and polishing laps and quads for television glass face plates.
Kinik® Diamond Pad Conditioning Discs: Eminess
Technologies Inc. distributes Kinik® Diamond Pad Conditioning Discs. The
manner in which a pad is conditioned has a major influence on polish performance
and pad life. Pad conditioning, or pad "dressing", is a critical component of the
CMP process where the Rohm and Haas IC 1000™ or IC 1010™ pad is used. Pad
conditioning may be performed in situ (while wafers are being polished), ex situ
(between wafers), or some combination of both and is dependent on the polishing
tool hardware.
Rodelene Rodelene is a haze-inhibiting additive specifically formulated to help limit the time required for haze removal during the polishing process of silicon and other II-IV and III-V materials. Rodelene also works to prevent the reformation of haze during subsequent storage and handling procedures.
